AFLUA announces All Australian Umpires for 2009

 The AFLUA congratulates Brett Rosebury, Adam Coote and David Dixon on their selection as AFLUA All Australian umpires for season 2009.

Brett became the second field umpire to win back to back All Australian Awards, Brett Allen being the first in 1999/2000.

Brett Rosebury had an outstanding season in 2009, achieving the 150 match Milestone, officiating in 22 Home and Away matches and 4 finals series matches including his first Grand Final.


ADAM COOTE
Heritage No. 514

Adam became the first boundary umpire to win back to back All Australian Awards.

He had a magnificent season achieving the 100 match Milestone, officiating in 24 Home and Away matches and 4 finals series matches including the Grand Final, his 3rd in four years.


DAVID DIXON
Heritage No.  279

David became the first goal umpire to win 2 All Australian Awards having previously won it in 2005.  He had an outstanding season achieving the 200 match milestone, officiating in 15 Home and Away matches and 4 finals series matches including the Grand Final, his third, having previously featured in the last day in September in 2000 and 2005.
