In 2009, the AFLUA released its first publication - The Man In White - The Official History of the AFL Umpires' Association.
It traces the evolution of the Association from its humble beginnings in 1909 asthe Victorian Football League Umpires' Association to the AFLUA of today.
With 100 years of information to be condensed into 376 pages, content had to be edited prior to print.
