AFLUA X Umpires Support Program

A Support Program for former umpires who are members has been established by the AFLUA.

AIMS OF THE PROGRAM

• To establish a network of AFLUA members who are no longer practicing umpires using the AFLUA data base.

• To provide friendship, support and counselling to members in need of such services resulting from ageing issues, health issues isolation and loneliness

• To establish and maintain communication links with members.

The Association extends it's sincere appreciation to Ron Bailey and Ted Johnson for the outstanding work on the Program. Both Ron and Ted work in a voluntary capacity under this program.

Those umpires who participate in the program are most appreciative the work of both Ron and Ted in making this program a success.
